By somehow pets eat toxic foods that they do not know could harm them badly. That is why it is really important to take care of your pets and stop them from eating toxic foods. 

Sometimes we remain busy enjoying the party, talking with others, and dancing with friends while we forget that some toxic food can fall down on the ground and can be eaten by our pets. Unconsciously we feed our pets bad foods that can be dangerous for their health. Your beloved pets may face many health issues just because of your carelessness. So, if you want your pets not to face any problem and do not want to take them to doctors then take care of everything. 

Below, we will discuss some toxic foods that you should not feed to your pets. 

Alcohol 

Alcohol is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream and can affect pets very fastly. Our pets very easily become attracted to a discarded cup of wine, beer or especially sangria that is left sitting on the ground during a party. Drinking alcohol can cause dangerous drops in blood sugar, body temperature, and blood pressure. Intoxicated pets can experience seizures and respiratory failure problems. Desserts that contain alcohol or yeast-containing dough are often the unknown toxic foods that we should avoid to feed our dogs. 

It is really important while enjoying a party that we never put the beer and wine on the floor. It could be accidentally eaten by your pets and as a result, you may have to contact the veteran or doctor for treatment.

Fat Trimmings & Bones 

Table scraps typically contain meat fat that a person did not eat just like bones. Both things are also dangerous for dogs. Fat trimmed in meat, in both forms such as cooked and uncooked can cause pancreatitis in your pet. It often seems very natural to give a bone to your dogs so he can choke in it.

Bones can even cause an obstruction or lacerations of your dog’s gastrointestinal system. It is important that you have a trash bin or trash bag that can be sealed quickly so that your pet cannot eat bones and cannot poke its nose around the scraps. While enjoying the party make sure to inform children and other members of the party not to throw chicken, pork, and ribs bones on the ground as your pet can eat them easily. These are the minor things that should be taken seriously.

Fatty Foods 

We all know that fatty foods and junk foods can be dangerous for human health. We may face many health issues like obesity and fatty liver problems. Then how this junk and fatty food could be safe for our pets. Junk and fatty foods can cause vomiting and diarrhoea. It also causes pancreatitis in your pet. Some certain types of breeds like miniature, Shetland sheepdogs, schnauzers, and Yorkshire terriers can be riskier for your pets to face pancreatitis than the other breeds. You can fight the temptation to share breakfast foods leftovers, junk foods, foods cooked in grease with your dogs like hot dogs, burger, pork, fried chicken, and burger. 

We took these foods as a casual breed but these can affect your pet badly. 

Garlic & Onion For Dogs 

Garlic is also poisonous for dogs and pets. As we know how rapidly garlic is used in hamburger patties and many other things. Gaelic is normally considered five times more potent than onion that can cause oxidative damage to the red blood cells as well as an upset stomach for example oral irritation, excess drooling, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. Some other medical issues are fatigue, lethargy, pale gums, anaemia, weakness, and elevated heart rate. The respiratory rate can also be increased. 

While the onions are very popular and used in many items like barbecues, burgers, also chopped up as a hot dog condiment, used as an ingredient in salad, can be cooked with eggs, added in salad and salsa, and also fried for an appetizer. Anyhow onion contains an ingredient called thiosulphate that can be very toxic for cats and dogs. Eating raw onion, onion powder and even cooked onion can cause a medical condition called hemolytic anaemia that is known as damage to the blood cells. We simply can say that onion can cause the red blood cells throughout your pet’s body to burst. Only a small amount of onion can be very harmful to your pets. 

Both onion and garlic are dangerous for the dog so if you notice any bad sign in your dog then immediately take your pet to the veterinarian. 

Raw Fish And Meat 

Raw meat and raw fish just like raw eggs can contain bacteria that cause food poisoning. Keep your raw fish and meat in an area where your pet cannot read and eat this toxic food unconsciously. Certain kinds of fish such as salmon, shad, trout, or sturgeon can contain a parasite that can cause fish disease. If it is not treated on time the disease can be fatal within 2 weeks. The initial signs of this disease are vomiting, fever, and big lymph nodes. That is why it is important to cook the fish thoroughly so that your dogs can eat non_toxic food that can surely be safe for them.
